Halfway Journey
Description
A thrilling trip down one of the biggest rivers on Earth—a choice reserved for the most daring individuals. The river starts its journey in Arunachal Pradesh, a few miles within China's line of control, after meandering softly through Tibet. Along the way, it cuts through the Greater Himalayas and Namche Barwa, the world's highest unclimbed mountain. You will go through isolated hillsides with scattered tribal dwellings in clearings encircled by a jungle infested with leeches during the excursion. Undoubtedly one of the most remote places on earth, it navigates the best large-volume white water in the neighbourhood. One of the most exclusive trips available, it takes seven days to complete on its own from Tuting to Pasighat (120 km approximately) via one of the world's most remote areas.
